About the Game!
Letters To Arralla is an adventurous and humorous game set on the island of Arralla, a small fictional island off the coast of Victoria.
You play as a newly-recruited turnip hired to deliver letters, parcels, and packages around the island using nothing but a pictogram as your "address". Are your puzzle solving skills up to scratch?
Get the mail where it needs to go by solving puzzles, helping the residents, and exploring the island’s sun-soaked beaches.
(And yeah, you can also read their mail - very illegal irl.)

Background

The idea hatched in 2020 from three newly-graduated students fresh out of RMIT. Chantel, Alex, and Nat wanted to create a whimsical game set on a faraway island that felt like a summer holiday.
Letters to Arralla’s full development began in 2021, and Little Pink Clouds have since steadily grown over the years from a trio to, at its height, a team of 10.
The game was successfully funded by both VicScreen and ScreenAustralia, and is currently on track to become the studio’s first original title!
What's there to love? Well, it's....

Beautiful
From the sun-kissed coastline to the majestic sandstone peaks, Arralla is a scenic island with whimsy rustling through its leaves.
This is your summer island holiday inside a beautifully-crafted, relaxing world.

Wholesome
You won’t find any sharp edges on these cute characters - they remain loveable even when we can’t resist sprinkling in our scrappy humour! You see the butts, find yourself in a pickle with a pickle, and you’re technically committing a postal offence by opening people’s mail… and yet, you’ll stay for the kindness you get to share. At its core, this is a game about making friends and helping townsfolk through their troubles.

Australian
From Port Fairy to Mornington Peninsula to the Grampians, Arralla is undoubtedly inspired by Victoria’s local flora and fauna. However, it’s not just about painting the landscape with currawong calls and semi-arid yellows - we’re recreating our neighbourhoods by weaving our multicultural lived experiences among Arralla’s colourful cast. During development, it was crucial that we sought and received assessment from Guck and Blak Cloud regarding respectful usage around Indigenous content.
